UK filmmaker Mr Young has created a new British TV record by debuting THREE new films on British TV in the space of 8 days. This all the more remarkable given the micro budget of all three films.

Mr Young debuts his first feature film, East 3 – Exploring a Frozen Frontier, on Sky TV (channel 219) on Friday 15th October at 1945.

Mr Young’s short film Poco Wants To Go also screened on the same channel on Thursday 7th October at 2050.

Further to this, another short film, The Moon, The Eye will screen on both Wednesday 13th October at 2050 and Saturday 16th October at 1955.

East 3 – Exploring A Frozen Frontier is a feature length documentary shot in the remote Arctic town of Inuvik. The film takes us on a surreal ride through this remote and fascinating community focusing on the disintegration of the traditional life of an Inuit hunter/trapper, the growth of the community greenhouse in a former residential school, the disturbing tales of dog welfare, the movements of the traditional winter sports and the beats of traditional Inuit drum dancing.

The film has previously screened at the 14th Annual New York Underground Film Festival, the 14th Annual Chicago Underground Film Festival as well as completing a short UK tour of screenings.

Although Mr Young’s first feature film is a documentary his previous work lies in the realm of fiction. Caged Fire, his latest short film, is currently screening at festivals up and down the UK.
