Vanessa Williams has tied the knot with fiancé Jim Skrip.

The Ugly Betty actress announced her engagement to the retired accountant in September last year. And on Saturday, her representative confirmed to People magazine that the couple had married in front of family and friends.

The 52-year-old originally confirmed the happy news of their engagement on The Queen Latifah Show.

“I got engaged," she said showing off her ring. "I have had a lot of good things happen … I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago. It has been a lot of blessings."

Vanessa has been married twice before, first to public relations consultant Ramon Hervey II from 1987 until 1997 and then to NBA basketball player Rick Fox from 1999 until 2004.

The star has four children, two daughters and a son from her union with Ramon and a daughter from her marriage to Rick.

Earlier this year, she opened up about meeting Jim in her mother’s hometown of Buffalo, New York.

“You never know what you'll find and where you'll find it," she said. "I was on vacation with my daughter going to Egypt, cruising on the Nile. I wasn't looking for anything. I'd been alone for a number of years and divorced for ten years at that time.[Jim] accepted me for who I was after a wonderful first three-hour date of talking about ourselves. We found out we had a lot of things in common."

Vanessa is yet to make any comment about her nuptials on social media. On Friday, she posted a message about her plans to celebrate the United States’ Independence Day, but made no reference to her impending wedding.

“Road trip for the holiday weekend Happy 4th (sic)” she wrote.
