Vergara: Manganiello’s too hot for Emmys

Sofia Vergara says her boyfriend Joe Manganiello is “too hot” to attend the Emmys with her.

The actress arrived solo at the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards Monday wearing a Roberto Cavalli gown, E! News reports.

And the Colombian beauty joked she decided to come alone because he is simply too sexy to be her red carpet companion.

“He’s really hot, that’s why I didn’t bring him,” the Modern Family actress laughed with E! News’s Giuliana Rancic Monday night before the show. “He’s too hot, too tall, he takes up a lot of space, so I’m like, ‘Listen, Joe, please don’t come.’ Too handsome, too sexy.”

The couple have been romantically linked since last month. They were introduced to each other at the White House Correspondents Dinner in May while Sofía was still engaged to her ex-fiancé Nick Loeb.

“We’re having a lot of fun,” Sofia added. “We’ve been going out just for like two months and a half and he’s a really funny guy, which is something very important for me. And a very nice guy.”

The 42-year-old actress isn’t the only one in the relationship willing to gush about their partner’s looks.

The 37-year-old True Blood actor has made multiple comments on his girlfriend’s derriere, even admitting to being “busted” checking it out before they were dating.

"C'mon you can't put that in front of me. What am I supposed to do? I'm not going to apologise. I totally got busted. That was actually funny when we first started dating, months after that," he previously told E! News.

"We had talked, I guess, or kinda bumped into each other but we didn't start dating until she was single. She had a boyfriend at that time, so I probably could've gotten into a fight for doing that. I'm not trying to start a fight at the White House."
