Vin Diesel thinks Helen Mirren starring in Fast and Furious 8 would be amazing.

The 47-year-old actor has enjoyed huge success playing Dominic Toretto in the fast car franchise.

And as he prepares to reprise the role once again for an eighth installment in the series, Vin said he would love to make Helen Mirren’s dream of starring in the next film come true.

"I love Helen Mirren. Get your act together, Helen!" he told Access Hollywood. “I love you!"

Helen previously admitted that she would love to have the opportunity to play a villain in one of the movies.

Vin thinks the 69-year-old British actress would be a perfect addition to the cast.

"Of course I would!” he replied when asked if he’d like to star alongside Helen. “Who wouldn't' It’s Helen. Amazing. Tell her I said so."

Vin was speaking to the outlet as he attended the opening of Universal Studios’ new Fast & Furious – Supercharged ride.

But when he was asked what’s in store for Dom and the rest of the franchise’s much-loved characters in Furious 8 and 9, he refused to let anything slip.

"I could tell you a whole lot about eight and nine," he said. "I will tell you that I've never seen a city so excited about a sequel and so committed to a sequel."

The last film, Furious 7, was the final movie starring Paul Walker. After his tragic death in November 2013, his brothers Caleb and Cody stepped in to help film bosses finish the shoot.

At the premiere of the film back in April, Cody said he thought his late sibling would be pleased with the end result.

"I wasn't nervous to see it. I was more anxious to see how it turned out," he told People.com.

"It's bittersweet, but I think Paul would be proud.”
