Weight Watchers ‘furious’ with Simpson

Jessica Simpson has reportedly enraged executives at Weight Watchers.

The fashion mogul and her NFL star fiancé Eric Johnson welcomed daughter Maxwell on May 1. Soon after Maxwell’s arrival she signed on to be a spokeswoman for the popular diet programme.

Jessica is said to have been paid $4 million for her work with Weight Watchers.

Initially the star struggled to lose the over 60lbs of weight she gained during her pregnancy with Maxwell.

It is rumoured that Jessica is now expecting her second child and Weight Watchers is not happy about the news.

"They're furious at Jessica," a source told Us Weekly magazine.

“She was already on thin ice with them since she didn't lose enough for a the first ad, when they had to shoot from the waist up."

Jessica eventually lost her baby weight and a second advertisement documenting her feat was shot.

Apparently this will not be broadcast if she is indeed pregnant.

"They don't think it can run," the source said.

"No one wants to hear about a pregnant woman dieting.”

There is speculation that Jessica and Eric weren’t planning to have another baby so soon, but they are “really overjoyed” with the news.
