Will Smith wants the “foolishness” of divorce rumours to cease immediately.

The 46-year-old Bad Boys actor has been married to actress Jada Pinkett Smith, 43, since 1997 and the couple share famous children Jaden, 17, and Willow, 14, together.

Speculation is rife the couple want to put an end to their nearly two decades of marital bliss and Will is sick of hearing the absurd reports.

“Under normal circumstances, I don't usually respond to foolishness. (Because it's contagious) But, so many people have extended me their ‘deepest condolences’ that I figured - ‘What the hell... I can be foolish, too!’ (sic),” the star wrote on his Facebook account Monday.

“So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness... Jada and I are...

NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -)

“I promise you all - if I ever decide to divorce my Queen - I SWEAR I'll tell you myself!

#Dumb People Should Have to Wear Scarlet D's”

Jada simply added on her Twitter account that her “King has spoken”. However she has previously shared her thoughts on the state of her union with Will.

The stunning Magic Mike XXL star accepts the transitory nature of all relationships, as she doesn’t expect any form of kinship to remain the same permanently.

“Marriages go through shifts and relationships go through shifts because in life things shift,” she explained to American Way magazine. “So people are automatically like, ‘What's going on? They must be getting a divorce.’ Well, no.”

Jada has also previously called attention to the spiteful nature of gossip.

She wonders why it is more entertaining for some people to expect a breakup between her and Will than to praise them for sustaining a nearly 20-year marriage.

"You'd think people would be rooting for you to stay together not to break up, you know?" she sighed to ET Online. "It's actually good news and bad news. The good news is there's nothing else to talk about. This has been the only story. Let's round up the divorce story again!

"Will and I love each other so much, and our family and our relationship is so important."
