Robin Williams was remembered by loved ones at a private memorial Saturday.
The comedian died of an apparent suicide at the age of 63 last month.
Family and close friends gathered to remember the star at San Francisco’s Curran Theatre, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Robin’s widow, Susan, and his three children, Cody, Zelda and Zak, were among those in attendance.
Musical tributes and speeches honouring the late legend also took place, with celebrity guests including Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, Stevie Wonder, Bette Midler, Ben Stiller, George Lucas, Penny Marshall, Danny De Vito, Rhea Perlman, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jeff Bridges, Minnie Driver and Marlo Thomas, among others, Robin’s former representative told THR.
Guests reportedly attended a reception after the memorial at the Westin St. Francis Hotel nearby.
The outlet reports Robin’s daughter Zelda was credited with organising much of the affair.
In a statement after his death, Zelda said the world would be “forever a little darker, less colorful and less full of laughter" in her father's absence.
Robin’s body was discovered August 11 at his home in Tiburon, California.
His wife revealed not long after the comedian had been battling with depression.
Robin was subsequently cremated after an autopsy was conducted, according to the New York Daily News.
A death certificate obtained by the outlet reportedly indicates his family members plan to scatter his ashes off the coast of the San Francisco Bay.
