Zoe Saldana 'pregnant'

Zoe Saldana is reportedly pregnant.

The 36-year-old actress secretly married Italian artist Marco Perego in June last year and they prefer not to speak about their life together publicly.

Over the weekend Zoe was seen sporting a seemingly fuller stomach than usual while promoting her new movie Guardians of the Galaxy in California. It's now been claimed that she is expecting a baby.

"Zoe is about three months pregnant," an insider told Us Weekly. "But she will only announce the news when she's ready."

The star and her husband have been battling pregnancy rumours for some time. Zoe and Marco apparently can't wait to welcome their little one into the world.

"Zoe has always wanted a big family, and Marco's on board too!" another source said.

Recently Zoe has apparently tried to hide her growing tummy, opting for patterned dresses and loose-fitting tops in an effort to disguise her figure.

In the past sources have said that Zoe and Marco's relationship works so well because he treats her like an equal rather than a trophy.

Earlier this month the private star opened up a little about her love life, explaining she only dated Marco for a few months before tying the knot as she was so sure he was the man for her.

“I don't do the ABCs,” she told the US edition of Marie Claire. “I do what my heart says, what my heart feels. So from the moment I met my husband, we were together. We knew.

"If you're not happy with a person, leave. And wait until you find that one person who makes you feel good about yourself every single day and is not expecting you to change, but to grow. I have been in relationships where a man has disrespected me, and I don't need to be friends with that man anymore. There's a reason why you're called an ex. I crossed you off my list. Moving on.”
