Costner in talks for Branagh’s Jack Ryan film

(Cover) - EN Movies - Kevin Costner is reportedly eyeing a lead role in Kenneth Branagh’s upcoming spy reboot.

British Academy Award-nominated actor Kenneth will direct and act in the thriller based on writer Tom Clancy’s famous Jack Ryan character.

Chris Pine stars in the film and Kevin is now in negotiations to join the ensemble.

Kevin’s character recruits and mentors a youthful Jack Ryan.

Kenneth has spoken previously about what audiences can expect to see in the action-packed feature.

“Jack Ryan is a very fast-paced, very contemporary, very action-driven thriller,” he told Collider last month.

Kevin has also been offered a role as a dying assassin in producer Luc Besson’s action drama Three Days to Kill.

Kevin will next be seen in Superman film Man of Steel.

The superhero movie which also stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Russell Crowe will premiere at US theatres in June 2013.
