Drew Barrymore celebrates baby shower

Drew Barrymore celebrated her second star-studded baby shower with the help of her Hollywood pals over the weekend.

The actress enjoyed a party with her loved ones at her Hollywood Hills home on Saturday afternoon. Guests included pals Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz, along with 50 of Drew’s closest friends and family.

According to sources, event trucks were spotted delivering tables, chairs, and alcohol from Pete’s Wine and Spirits for the event.

The party lasted around three hours, with many guests seen carrying flowers and gifts into the bash.

Drew, who is expecting her second daughter with her husband Will Kopelman, has slowed down her hectic work schedule in order accommodate her growing family. She has also been more open about her second pregnancy, compared to her first pregnancy two years ago.

“I don’t make that many movies anymore. I’m not really producing right now,” she explained. “It used to be work first and now it’s life first. So even though I’m doing a lot, there’s a lot of things that have slowed down. And I’m trying to do jobs where I can work from home or be at home by dinnertime if I do have to go out to meetings. You just sort of change your life.”

The actress also has a new level of anxiety now that she’s a mother. “I’ve never been so worried in my life about making sure that something I care about more than I’ve ever cared in my life is safe and intact,” she said.

Drew is expected to give birth this summer. The couple already have a daughter, 18-month-old Olive.
