Rob Kardashian 'in rehab'

Rob Kardashian has reportedly checked into rehab.

The younger brother of reality TV star Kim is thought to have been dealing with personal issues for some time, with his split from singer Rita Ora in 2012 hitting the sock designer hard.

Now Star magazine claims he has checked into The Meadows facility in Arizona to deal with depression and substance abuse.

According to the report, his recent weight gain is due to smoking marijuana, drinking alcohol and taking prescription cough medicine.

“Rob has been checked into The Meadows for about a month for substance-abuse issues,” a source told the publication.

Rita, 23, has recently referenced her romance with Rob in several interviews, dismissing it when she was talking to radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O. She also gushed about falling in love with her new beau Calvin Harris while speaking to UK ELLE magazine.

Rob sparked speculation he isn't over his split from Rita when he tweeted: "No one will understand how much it hurts" around the time the ELLE interview was released. He didn't explain the message and later deleted the post.

During their acrimonious split in 2012 he publically accused the Hot Right Now star of seeing other men on Twitter.

Rob didn't join his famous family on holiday in Thailand recently. Instead it's been claimed he's been getting close to sister Khloé's estranged husband Lamar Odom, who split from the star amid rumours of drug abuse and infidelity.

“[Rob] has completely retreated from the family, and from his friends. But within the last few weeks, Rob has reconnected with Lamar," an insider told RadarOnline.
