Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow looked “like they were still married” as they attended a screening together on Monday night.

The former couple, who announced their split in March, were apparently very comfortable in each other’s company as they watched Hector and the Search for Happiness in East Hampton, New York.

Gwyneth was also accompanied by her mother Blythe Danner at the screening.

"Chris and Gwyneth seemed so comfortable with each other," a source told People magazine. "It was like they were still married."

The 41-year-old actress hosted the screening for Simon Pegg, a close friend of both hers and Chris’, who stars in the film.

Despite her apparent closeness with her estranged husband at the screening, Gwyneth opted not to pose up for pictures with Chris. While the actress walked the red carpet at the UA Theater alone, Coldplay singer Chris reportedly entered the venue via another door.

Following the screening, Gwyneth and Chris decided to keep their evening going by both attending the after-party at Serena & Lily Beach Market in nearby Wainscott.

The pair’s date came after Chris opened up about the status of his friendship with Gwyneth.

"We are very close. We are not together. But we're, you know, that's the truth and that's it,” Chris said during an interview on radio show Valentine in the Morning. “There's a lot of love. No scandal, I'm afraid. I wish I could give you scandal."

Gwyneth and Chris, who have two children together, announced that they had made the decision to “consciously uncouple” after ten years of marriage in March.
