Charlie Sheen has dared TV rivals Ashton Kutcher and Chuck Lorre to take his version of the “ice bucket challenge”.

The former Two and a Half Men star was replaced by Ashton after a very public feud with the show’s creator, Chuck, back in 2011.

And Charlie was the latest celebrity to jump on the viral video trend to raise money for neurodegenerative disease ALS Monday, after being challenged by hockey star Ryan Miller.

In a video posted by TMZ, the actor pretends to prepare to douse his head with a bucket of freezing cold water before calling out the pair and former co-star Jon Cryer.

But Charlie instead showered himself with dollar bills.

“Oh wait, that’s not ice. That’s $10,000 in cash, which I am donating to the ALS Foundation,” he tells the camera. “Because, let’s face it, ice is gonna melt but this money is actually going to help people.

“So, I am hereby calling out Jon Cryer, Chuck Lorre and Ashton Kutcher to identically do what I just did. Come on guys. It’s for a great cause,” he says.

Ashton, Jon and Chuck had yet to respond to Charlie’s challenge at press time.

However, Ashton has already joined the leagues of celebrities participating, pouring freezing cold water over his head in a video posted over the weekend alongside former That ‘70s Show co-star Wilmer Valderrama and comedian Dax Shepard.

The Jobs star recently took aim at Charlie, who in January tweeted Ashton and asked that he “quit barfing on my old brilliant show”.

Ashton responded to the remark weeks later on US late night show Jimmy Kimmel Live!

“Dude, shut the f**k up!" he mused.

“Like it's like three years later and you're still blowing me up on Twitter. Like come on dude, really?"
