Ali Larter is ready to “slow down” and be with family.

The 38-year-old star is pregnant with her second child, which is due in the winter. She married Hayes MacArthur in 2009 and the couple shares 3-year-old son, Theodore “Teddy” Hayes.

“It’s time to slow down and stop working for a second and start being with my family,” the Legends actress told People magazine while attending Pampers #babygotmoves event Wednesday.

Apparently, Ali and Hayes don’t have their hopes set on either gender, as long as the baby is “healthy”.

“And that’s what I pray for,” the Final Destination star said.

One of the hardest parts of the pregnancy has been “slowing down". The Resident Evil: Extinction actress is dedicated to staying fit and working out. She is usually “hard” on and “pushes” herself. However, while she is expecting, her routine has changed.

“With this pregnancy, I haven’t been able to do any of that. After I work out for like 20 minutes, I start feeling nauseous, so for me it’s just slowing down more and honouring what my body wants to do,” she explained.

The mother-to-be has already told her son about his new sibling and says he is “excited”. To ensure he’s ready for the newest member of the family, she has taken to bribing him.

“I’ve started giving him presents from his little baby brother or sister,” she explained. “We’re definitely working him, bribing him, whatever we have to do to make sure he doesn’t sneak into that crib and dangle that baby by its feet.”
