Hugh Jackman said goodbye to his villainous Pan character by symbolically shaving his beard.

The Prestige actor has chronicled the changes he’s undergone for his role as the pirate Blackbeard in the forthcoming Peter Pan film - slated for a July 2015 release - on social media.

And he celebrated wrapping production Monday by posting an Instagram video of himself getting rid of his facial hair.

“Going....,” he captioned the first video. “Gone....,” he wrote with the second.

Last week, the star posted a picture of French fries, writing, “Wrap gift to myself ... in 3, 2, 1 #Pan #thatisawrap #beyond.”

The Wolverine star previously took to the app to share a photo of himself with a shaved head, a moustache and a beard in June, shocking fans with his dramatic new look.

And the actor is looking forward to sharing with fans the “smart” story penned by Jason Fuchs, which serves as a prequel to J.M. Barrie’s story of Peter Pan.

"This is the origin story so it is very smart, there's a lot of heart to it and of course, you're in Neverland. I play the villain Blackbeard, who is charming and who loves to hear the sound of his own voice. I'm really enjoying it,” Hugh previously told the UK and Ireland edition of Yahoo! movies.

The film also stars Amanda Seyfried as Mary, Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily and Garret Hedlund as Hook. Peter Pan is played by Levi Miller while Leni Zieglmeier takes on the role of Wendy. The film is directed by Joe Wright.
