Stanley Tucci is "excited" to welcome his first child with wife Felicity Blunt.

The actor, 53, confirmed the news at the Mario Batali Foundation Dinner in New York City Sunday.

"I'm very excited to be a dad. It's incredible," he told USWeekly at the event. "I'm most excited to have a baby with Felicity and for the baby to be healthy."

The Hunger Games star did not share whether they’re expecting a boy or girl. But he’s certain his wife, the sister of actress Emily Blunt, will be a “great” mother.

"The sex is of no concern to me. The sex of the baby, that is,” he continued, laughing.

The child will be the first for the couple, and the fourth for Stanley, who has three children with his late wife, Kate, who passed away in 2009 after a battle with breast cancer.

The Devil Wears Prada star was introduced to Felicity in 2006 while he was working on the film with her sister, USWeekly reports.

The actor revealed in August 2012 the couple had wed. The following month, a ceremony was held in London with several A-list guests in attendance, including Emily and husband John Krasinski, Steve Buscemi, Colin Firth, Ewan MacGregor and Meryl Streep.

The couple’s baby will have a little cousin to play with when he or she is welcomed to the world.

Emily and John welcomed a daughter, Hazel, earlier this year.
