Nick Jonas: Golf relaxes me

Nick Jonas likes to kick back with a beer and a cigar.

The 22-year-old star hit the big time as part of clean living pop band Jonas Brothers alongside his older siblings Kevin and Joe.

He still leads a relatively low-key life and laughs off the notion he could become the next child star who goes bad.

"I love to have a beer with my friends and hang out and smoke a cigar. By no means do I have things that I use to cope to deal with the crazy life I live. If anything, it's golf. Golf and cigars that works for me," Nick smiled to British newspaper Metro.

Nick and his brothers called it quits on their band last year after eight years in the spotlight. While Kevin and Joe are enjoying some time out of the industry, Nick is still as busy as ever.

He recently starred in TV series Kingdom and has completed filming for new movie Careful What You Wish For. On top of acting duties, his solo music is also garnering a lot of success.

"I've had four years to collect my thoughts and think about what I want to do and the steps I will take to get there.

"Although it didn't come without bumps in the road or moments where I was stressed or feeling like it all too much," he admitted.

A steamy shoot for Flaunt magazine also got the music star a whole host of new fans recently, when photos from the feature hit the internet earlier this month.

"JLo heard my song as a result of seeing the shoot," Nick laughed. "It's all very exciting. I have always loved JLo. I saw a YouTube or Twitter video or whatever it was of her working out to my song Jealous. I thought 'This is great!'"
