Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon are reportedly planning a "wonderful, intimate" Christmas.

The 47-year-old actress married Rick for the second time earlier this year, but it hasn't been smooth sailing for the couple. In July she filed a petition to end the union, although she sought to have this dismissed a month later. Things are now looking up for the couple, who are said to be planning to see the year out with a bang.

"[They] are planning to spend a wonderful intimate Christmas together at home in Malibu, Calif, with her kids," an insider told RadarOnline.com.

Pamela has two sons with her ex-husband Tommy Lee.

She has been working on a movie in Canada of late, but has apparently secured some Yuletide vacation as she wants to be with her new spouse.

"She is already back in town and on break from her filming in Canada,” the source explained.

"She was very excited to be back in her home country and working on a feature film, but she is really looking forward to letting loose a little after the hectic filming schedule."

Despite their rocky start, Pamela and Rick are said to have put their differences aside now. The actress is said to be marvelling at home how "close and connected" she feels to her husband, and she is thrilled they will be Malibu for December 25.

Pamela and Rick first married in October 2007, but they separated on December 13 that year. In February 2008 she asked for an annulment, claiming fraud.

"This is going to definitely have much more meaning to them," the insider explained, referring to the 2014 festive season.
