Van Damme’s wife ‘files for divorce again’

Jean-Claude Van Damme’s wife has reportedly filed for divorce.

The 54-year-old action movie star has been married to actress-and-former professional body builder Gladys for 15 years.

But according to TMZ their relationship is now over, as Gladys is said to have filed for divorce in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Apparently she is citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for their split and the official separation date is listed as March 7 in the documents.

This is the second time Gladys and Jean-Claude have ended their marriage. They were first wed from 1987 to 1992 and the pair share two adult children together.

The outlet reports Gladys has requested spousal support and she’ll be dropping his surname, which is really Van Varenberg.

Jean-Claude has been married several times in the past and his latest break with Gladys marks his fifth divorce.

Although the 54-year-old actor’s personal life may be in disarray, he has a lot going on professionally this year. He is starring in two action pictures due for release within the next few months. The first is Pound of Flesh, which centres on a man who after saving a woman in distress, wakes up the next day to find his kidney has been removed. The man then seeks out who stole his organ with the aim of revenging the bodily organ thievery. Pound of Flesh is due to reach American theatres in May. Kickboxer is his second new film this year, which is a remake of the eponymous 1989 film Jean-Claude also starred in. Kickboxer hits theatres in late 2015.
