Ronaldo docu from makers of ‘Senna’ and ‘Amy’

‘Ronaldo’, the powerful new documentary from the makers of ‘Senna’ and ‘Amy’ which follows a year in the life of the world’s best footballer Cristiano Ronaldo will be released worldwide this autumn 2015.

This completely unique cinematic event will be available in cinemas, for digital download and on DVD and Blu-ray. Further details will be announced shortly.

‘Ronaldo’ is a film built on 12 months of unprecedented access that will take the audience inside the inner circle of this global icon.

Through in-depth conversation with the player, along with never-before seen footage, astonishing unprecedented access to Cristiano, his inner circle of family, friends and teammates, the film offers a revealing intimate portrait of the elite athlete and global superstar whilst at the peak of his career.

Following him on and off the pitch during the most important season of his life, ‘Ronaldo’ will offer a fascinating insight into the level of sacrifice, pain, isolation and determination that has gone into making Cristiano one of the most celebrated football players in the history of the sport.

Filmed on location in Madrid, Lisbon, Madeira, Brazil and the USA. ‘Ronaldo’ will show the player and the man as you have never seen him before.
