Amanda Seyfried can’t wait to have children

The ‘Red Riding Hood’ star – who is believed to be dating Ryan Phillippe - admits she gets broody when she is around her publicist’s two kids, but she isn’t setting herself a deadline to start a family.

She said: “I want children! My publicist now has two kids – I love her, so I like to think I’m an auntie to her kids. I can’t wait to have my own! I think it’s really exciting to know that I want them. Knock on wood, I hope I’m fertile, but I’ve never got pregnant before.”

Despite her wish to have a child, the 25-year-old star insists she hates dating and particularly despises blind dates.

Amanda added to Now magazine: “I’m always somehow involved with somebody, so I don’t really date. If I meet somebody I’m really fascinated by, I’ll hang out with them, but I don’t go out.

"I also know what I’m like and I’m picky anyway, but dating is a world that I’m not interested in, blind dates especially. What the f**k is that? Scary! But I guess it’s been successful for some.”
