Blake Lively ‘is next Gwyneth Paltrow’

Blake Lively is set to become “the next Gwyneth Paltrow” according to co-star Kelly Rutherford.

Kelly plays Lily van der Woodsen on hit teen drama series Gossip Girl alongside Blake, who plays her on-screen daughter Serena.

Kelly, 42, is impressed with Blake’s talent as an actress. The blonde star thinks the 24-year-old beauty’s career has the potential to rival that of Hollywood siren Gwyneth.

“She’s going to be the next Gwyneth Paltrow at the rate she’s going,” Kelly told OK! magazine. “She is so talented at so many things.”

Kelly is filming the new series of Gossip Girl in New York with the rest of the cast. The star is enjoying catching up with everybody.

“It’s really fun to be back in the city. We’re just loving being back to work, filming while the weather is still nice. It’s great,” she said.

“It’s so good to see everybody. I mean Blake looks amazing, it sounds like she’s had a wonderful summer.”

Blake recently enjoyed a summer vacation in France with her Hollywood beau Leonardo DiCaprio. Kelly says the star has remained tight-lipped about the trip.

“I just saw photos. She hasn’t talked much about it,” she explained.

“She was studying French or she was talking about studying French.”
