Amy Jackson, 23 from Liverpool is now a superstar in the world of Bollywood films. Her phenomenal rise to fame started out in the quiet streets of Woolton, Liverpool where she was working as a model. In 2009, she was spotted by Tamil Film Director A. L. Vijay in America when she was crowned Miss Teen World. In just a few years Amy has gone from Liverpool Beauty Queen to the most in demand Bollywood Actress on the planet.

Amy made her first acting debut in the Tamil period drama Madras Town, which became an instant box office hit and shortly after followed up her phenomenal debut with her first Bollywood film, Ekk Deewana Tha, a romantic drama. Since then her acting career has boomed and she has stared in thrillers such as Thaanadavam and Yevadu. One of Amy’s most recent project’s ‘i’, released earlier this year, instantly broke box office records alongside being the most ambitious and expensive Pan Indian films ever made.

This October, we saw the release of her latest film ‘Singh is Bliing’, where she starred in the action comedy alongside Bollywood sensation, Akshay Kumar. The film was an outstanding success and became a box office super hit. Amy is currently filming Robot 2 where she will be seen alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and the cultural icon, Rajinkanth.

Amy has been compared to the likes of Angelina Jolie and Cameron Diaz in the world of Bollywood. After moving to Mumbai for work in 2012, she taught herself Hindi for her film roles and now has become one of India’s biggest icons in the film and fashion world winning the SIMA Style Icon award, the Ritz Youth Icon Award and was also voted the most desirable women of the 2015 by The Times India.

The 23-year-old actress has been on the front cover of Vogue, Marie Claire, Maxim, FHM and many more. She is now gaining global recognition for her incredible talent.

Her next release will be the romantic drama Thanga Magan coming out December 18th 2015.
