Fairytale: The Story of the Seven Dwarves

When a curse is put on a Sleeping Beauty by a slightly mean witch, all seems lost for the king and queen. The curse goes if she is pricked by a thorn then she will sleep for a hundred years! Never fear however as those seven dwarf people are on hand. They are told to look after her and keep her safe. When Bobo accidentally pricks her with a thorn, those seven plucky adventurers must save the day.

Have you ever bought a bag of all sorts? you know the sweets which have a load of those tasty treats you love but all in one packet. That is exactly like this animated film. A mixture of all those great films that you have seen from the beginning of your life on this spinning rock. It takes those ideas and then plays a little with this and a little with that. In many respects it is living off of this common source. Linking the reason for watching this with those far superior films. This is often what is done by both the Brazilian and Eastern European animated film producers. We shouldn't be hostile to this as they take the ideas and then run with them. In some cases into a brick wall but in other cases it works quite well, as in here and the very good SNOW QUEEN. That was a FROZEN knock off and this is another knock off but of a more varied type!

I liked the fact the film is full of energy, which kids will love and it is bouncing around the screen. It is funny how a film like this gets made. You wonder if the British film industry could not learn from our cousins in the far flung world. This film is a chanced idea and made quickly but not poorly or substandard. It is not Pixar, nor does it want to be. It is more SHREK but with the added bonus of being as adult in humor but without the over acting! The truth is that this is soft and silly fun, that will be great for you too sit with the kids and watched for an hour and a half. Great work to Signature and the film makers!
