When Hahou comes to find out about the murder of a boxing champion, he knows that the real reason for the murder isn't drug related. The police have other ideas and see this as another drug murder in a string of many. However this all changes when he correctly predicts the next murder and a game of cat and mouse begins.

I am not a massive fan of Kung Fu style, kick ups. I do like action but find that about twenty seconds in to a film where feet are flying I look at my watch and dream of some talking. This film may have started me thinking that I have been over eager in my assumption that all martial arts films are dull. This is well shot, well written (for action film standards) and above all well performed by a cast that is filled with good actors and athlete's. The director Teddy Chen is very comfortable with action and pillow shots of a kind. Adding them in to seperate the movements but also to gain breathing space. He should be commended for not bombarding the audience with violence and instead balancing the physical and meta. I also loved his palette, dull blue, fired red and a beautiful brown hue are magical and will be missed by those wanting just fists a fly.

If I had to complain and anyone who reads my work knows I do love a moan, then it is with the lack of a centre for Donnie Yen who is a great artist. Both in action films and as a skilled actor in the sense of doing his job well. He is given much here but i felt he was told to get on and perform. In other works I have seen him in he worked best with a director and cast that had him in the center. Not on the outside. Above though this is a worthy watch for many reasons.
