When the Bizarro team infringe on the normal world the superheroes of the Justice League come too save the day. Now normally they are sent off to another world or the like and enjoy living in a new place. When however a strange twist of fate creates a new order and the Justice League are on the back foot, everything becomes even more interesting.

I loved the Lego movie. It was clever, well written and even more so refreshing. Animation for too long was either 'princess' drivel or Pixar padding ( its last good film being UP). Now Lego raised the game and this was very appreciated. It was also a hit and this made a slew of cast off and cash in ideas appear, this is not appreciated. Why? Well not only the credible reason of quality but also the problem of saturation or overkill. Overkill (you know what this is...) is when you literally have the product everywhere and in everything. Linked to something that is either of the same ilk or inferior and awful. The more you milk an idea, the less valuable said idea becomes. It feels as if at some point we might end up with say, Lego vs Sticklebrick...

What I will say is that this film is well made and the animation as expected is above par. The script is good but is overly self knowing and post modern. This worked in Lego movie, as it was pivotal. Within this it becomes a little sneering and a lot annoying. I have never wanted to harm a Lego piece but this made me want to. You have some great talent here but with this sneer in the background it detracts from all that is good and solid. Link this with the other problem of Why do we need this film....and you might be rather annoyed. In summing up and moving on, kids will love it but adults will loath it. Buy it for them under caution that you will superglue any Lego pieces if repeatedly viewed. Start with their favourite first...
