When the young and self centred HernĂ¡n is sent to train with a group of other middle class people, he is ready for the life of practice. He ends up spending all his time learning how to fight of the poor and uncivilized. Hand held weapons, guns and violence in order to stop the lost of that most essential thing. What is that thing, well that is simply money and ownership. To own and to control or to be owned and then to be essentially controlled by what you own.

Well it is with a sharp sadness that I have to call out this film. Dull and empty in its ideas and weak in its heart. It has visuals that are starting to become interesting but its whole content feels like the confused musings of a mad man. The idea that things are driven by the middle obesession with outward appearance is not new. The idea that we are owned by what we own, is common and done better elsewhere. This film would have been a revelation 20 years ago. Today it is a dull as dishwater piece from a director that is sloppy and has to learn to talk to his audience in a resepectful and less patronising way. Do not buy tickets for it, you will regret it....I did.
