Scooby-Doo fans AND fans of the famous glam-metal band are in for a KISS-tastic treat this Halloween, when our lovable canine detective and his friends set out to solve some spooky shenanigans in a theme park called Kiss World. And yeah, this one rocks!

When a huge KISS concert is announced at the band’s amusement park everyone, and in particular the management should be thrilled… seeing how the bucks are about to roll in as manifold as pumpkins for Halloween. However, ‘tis the season to be scared, and the truly evil Crimson Witch is creating mayhem and havoc across the park, to the extent that it needs to be shut down until help arrives. Enter Scooby-Doo and his loyal friends/helpers Fred Jones, Velma Dinkley, Daphne Blake and Shaggy Rogers who have received a call to investigate the strange goings-on. The call is particularly good news for Daphne, who is crazy about KISS member ‘The Starchild’ (Paul Stanley).
When the gang arrive at the amusement park they are rudely turned away by security guard Delilah Domino. Not easily defeated, the fab five sneak in secretly but are caught by Delilah. Just as they are about to be thrown out the almighty KISS arrive and upon learning that Scooby-Do and Co. have come to help and solve the mystery they are welcome to stay. Immediately there’s some innocent flirting going on between Daphne and ‘Starchild’, however, some tension remains between ‘The Demon’ (Gene Simmons) and Scooby and Shaggy as a result of an earlier incident with a water gun.

Meanwhile, hundreds of KISS fans, better known as the KISS Army, descend into the direction of the amusement park and a race against time is on to rid the park of the Crimson Witch before the band go on stage. Our friends make the acquaintance of a mysterious woman called Chikara, a sort of fortune teller who claims the witch comes from an alternate universe called KISSteria and hatches a plan to use the black diamond (the very gem that KISS sing about in their hit ‘Detroit Rock City’) to summon a demon called ‘The Destroyer’. Well, in case you are wondering what the demon is supposed to be doing then right, he’s supposed to destroy planet Earth!

Scooby and friends take hold of the diamond in an effort to trap the Crimson Witch, but witchy lady just happens to be faster… Enter a madcap and out-of-this-world thrill-ride through space and various portals! The Destroyer is unleashed and it’s now up to the gang and the band to stop worldwide destruction. As Scooby and gang battle it out in the universe with the aid of a spaceship, KISS are already on stage, blasting out one hit after another (‘Rock N Roll All Nite’, ‘Shout It Out Loud’, ‘I Was Made For Loving You’, ‘Modern Day Delilah’, etc.).
After Scooby and friends have returned to planet Earth, they unmask none other than security guard Mistress Domino as the Crimson Witch and are made to believe that their spaced-out adventures were little more than trippy hallucinations caused by witch gas. As Domino is led away handcuffed, Scooby and the others say bye to the band, but not before Daphne scores a proper kiss from ‘Starchild’. Suddenly, KISS turn into colourful swirls and fly off into the sky with the black diamond… perhaps the whole adventure wasn’t a hallucination after all?

The band (Gene ‘The Demon’ Simmons, Paul ‘The Starchild’ Stanley, Tommy ‘The Spaceman’ Thayer, and Eric ‘The Catman’ Singer) all voice their own cartoon alter egos which are a riot to look at. We also have Pauley Perrette (aka ‘Abby Sciuto’ from the hugely popular NCIS crime series) voicing the dual character of Delilah Domino/Crimson Witch.
This one is definitely full of imagination and ace rock and roll! An enjoyable adventure for young and old, and of course, for KISS fans!
