Australian Sons of Anarchy fans have the rare opportunity to get up close and personal with three of the show's biggest names. An Evening of Mayhem: The Cast of Sons of Anarchy features,Theo Rossi (Juice), Mark Boone Junior (Bobby Munson) and Kim Coates (Tig). The trio arrived on our shores earlier this week and will hold moderated panel Q&A sessions with fans across the country.

KillRockStar BigDog staged an exclusive media event last night at Eureka Rebellion Trading giving the press the opportunity to sit down with Theo Rossi and Mark Boone Junior ahead of tonight’s moderated Q&A at The Palace Theatre. The invite only event was a relaxed no holds barred Q&A session.

Throughout the evening, Rossi and Boone openly answered questions about the sensitive subject matter often depicted on Sons of Anarchy. When asked if they are now numb to some of confronting storylines and the pushing of boundaries within the program, Rossi stated, “I don’t think it ever stops. You read the stuff that happens with Tara and you read the stuff that happens with Opi…….it's some heavy stuff that goes on, its always very interesting and it's not that you are numb to it, but you know that it's always for a reason, so for us I don’t think we look at it like that…… Everything is done very intentionally”. Boone quickly responded with “It's very hard to leave it. We do six months and by the end of the season you are carrying around a lot of ghosts. Heavy stuff.”

SOA has built a steady cult following since debuting in 2008. The gripping series follows the lives of outlaw motorcycle gang SAMCRO and its portrayal of the biker lifestyle is unflinching. The series is cleverly written and executed and the he storylines are complex yet engaging. The show creator Kurt Suttor has intricately brought to life the many dynamics that exist within the psyche of motorcycle gangs.

Although many of the characters are portrayed as brute and violent, they still maintain a likeable spirit as the show deals with raw human emotions. The ability to humanise antagonistic characters is part of the shows success and has allowed it to sustain longevity. It’s a show you either love or hate and once you are drawn into the lives of characters, it’s hard to walk away.
