Kristin Scott Thomas: Women swoon over Gosling

(Cover) - EN Movies - Kristin Scott Thomas says most women “scream and fall to the floor” when she mentions working with Ryan Gosling.

The two stars have been shooting Only God Forgives in Bangkok recently. The movie is about two men who decide to work out their problems by engaging in a Thai boxing match, with Kristin playing the mother of Ryan’s character Julien.

The actress has been astounded by how excited ladies are when she’s discussed the movie in public.

“I’ve just got back from Bangkok where I spent seven weeks shooting with Ryan Gosling. Most women scream and fall to the floor when I say that,” she laughed.

“No, no, no [not the love interest] the mother. That’s usually my role nowadays. It was still great fun.

“He’s divine, he’s really, really sweet… lovely. He was my son!”

Kristin added she has “noticed” that women become tongue-tied and flushed when they are around Ryan.

The actress’ character in Only God Forgives is called Jenna and she describes her as “evil”. The star has got used to playing people who are nasty as those are the role she tends to receive at the moment.

“I’m quite good at that, being mean and fierce. It doesn't make you feel very good being mean and fierce, it is much nicer playing people who are kind and sweet,” she laughed to the BBC.
