Vaughn and Ferrell reside in Daddy’s Home

(Cover) - EN Movies - Vince Vaughn will star alongside Will Ferrell in Daddy’s Home.

According to Variety the 43-year-old actor has signed up to appear in the Paramount comedy to be directed by Etan Cohen.

The film sees Will play a “mild mannered radio executive whose life gets chaotic when his wife’s ex-husband [Vince] re-enters the picture and he must compete to vie for his step-children’s affections”.

Will and Adam McKay will co-produce the comedy with the script co-written by Adam, Etan, Brian Burns and Chris Henchy.

Vince is likely to complete the film before beginning production on comedy Business Trip.

He also co-stars with Will in Anchorman: The Legend Continues, the hotly anticipated sequel to the 2004 cult classic.

Vince will reprise his role as Wes Mantooth, who in the original film was the lead anchor of the competing KQHS Channel 9 Evening News Team and Burgundy's main rival.

The busy actor is also reuniting with his Wedding Crashers co-star Owen Wilson for comedy The Internship which is released next month.
