Mueller looking out for ‘self-interest’ with sons

Brooke Mueller is said to be intent on getting her way in family court at the expense of her sons’ welfare.

Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife is undergoing treatment for drug addiction at The Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California. It is the same facility Lindsay Lohan is currently housed.

The 35-year-old socialite has been temporarily stripped of custody of her twin sons Bob and Max with Charlie due to drug use.

The courts granted temporary custody of the boys to Charlie’s other former spouse Denise Richards.

Apparently Brooke has sent her lawyer to court a number of times to get her sons out of Denise’s home.

“[They] flatly denied Mueller’s request to have Denise stripped of temporary custody, and placed in the care of her brother in Orange County. There was absolutely no reason that could justify the move, which would only uproot the twins yet again,” a source told Radar Online.

“Brooke’s claims that Denise was only taking care of the boys for financial gain fell flat because the actress signed a sworn declaration that she had refused money from Charlie. Denise’s declaration also went on to say that she didn’t want any money EVER for her care of the boys.”

It is said Brooke is motivated by selfishness with her actions.

Apparently she is delusional about what is truly happening.

“Brooke just doesn’t seem to grasp the seriousness of the situation involving custody of the boys. She is used to just snapping her fingers, and having her lawyers work their magic, and make the problem go away,” the insider explained.

“This isn’t being heard in family court, the fact it’s in child dependency court because of her actions is extremely serious. She should stop wasting the courts resources and focus on what is best for the boys, and not her self-interest.”
