Dobrev and Somerhalder reunion frosty

Nina Dobrev and ex-flame Ian Somerhalder were reportedly “all business” at a glamorous event.

The Vampire Diaries co-stars recently decided to end their romance after dating for more than three years.

Although they are no longer an item, Nina and Ian still work together on the supernatural teen TV show.

The pair attended the CW Upfronts event in New York City on Thursday to promote the series.

Apparently Nina and Ian avoided each other at all costs on the red carpet.

They were seen together once onstage, with CW president Mark Pedowitz sandwiching himself between their bodies.

The awkwardness was palpable.

“It was a complete 180 from last year,” an eyewitness told Radar Online.

“Last year they looked like any young couple in love, and this time it was all business.”

It is said the actors are committed to maintaining a professional relationship despite their breakup.

This may be more difficult to do than was initially surmised as was evident at the CW event.

“They couldn’t wait to get out of there,” the source said. “Ian told the fans he was running late and only stopped to sign one autograph.”

Nina, 24, and Ian, 34, went public with their romance in 2011. However, rumours that the relationship could be on the rocks began earlier this year. It was claimed the stars were “leading different lives” and growing apart from each other.
