Benson: I don’t like vacations

Ashley Benson doesn’t like going on holiday because it yanks her away from work.

The 23-year-old Spring Breakers star keeps a jam-packed schedule between her film career and hit US TV series Pretty Little Liars.

She’s getting a rare week off to celebrate Independence Day in the US and will use the time to trek to Europe with friends. But the star admits taking time off isn’t something that normally appeals to her.

“I don’t really like to vacation. I’m surprised I’m actually going on vacation. I love to work. But I’m just going to go to Europe for a week,” she told America’s OK! magazine.

The star plans to revisit Paris and Rome but will be travelling to parts of Switzerland for the very first time.

While she’s looking forward to the jaunt Ashley admits jetting around the world for work has tainted her desire to visit new places because she’s always crunched for time.

She’s hoping to make up for failing to see some sites in Italy in France during her next trip.

“I went to Paris for four days in February and then I was I in Rome for 12 hours. So I’m going to Rome again because it’s beautiful there and Paris is amazing,” she said.

Ashley has a busy summer ahead. The actress said she plans to work and hang out with friends when she can.

She also has a few new projects in the works but for now the actress is keeping tight-lipped about when fans can see her on the big screen next.

“I have other things that are awesome but I’ll be able to say it when I can say it,” she said.
