Anna Kendrick to appear in Redford movie

(Cover) - EN Movies - Anna Kendrick and Terrence Howard have signed on to The Company You Keep.

The pair have joined the cast of Robert Redford’s new movie along with Irish actor Brendan Gleeson.

The film follows a former Weather Underground activist, played by Robert, who goes on the run from a young journalist who has discovered his identity.

Shia LaBeouf has signed on to play the reporter.

Robert has called in a huge ensemble for his latest project.

Susan Sarandon, Richard Jenkins, Julie Christie, Stephen Root, Chris Cooper, Brit Marling, Stanley Tucci and America’s Got Talent finalist Jackie Evancho are also confirmed.

Variety reports that Anna and Terrence will both play members of the FBI. Anna will be a former girlfriend of Shia’s and will pass him information. Terrence will play a senior member of the FBI and Brendan will be a retired chief of police.

Jackie, 11, has landed the role of Robert’s daughter.

The film is based on the book by Neil Gordon and adapted by Lem Dobbs. It will be Robert’s ninth project as director and follows 2010’s disappointing The Conspirator.

Shooting has begun in Vancouver, Canada.
