Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris has landed a role in a new movie.

The 13-year-old has made no secret of her desire to follow her late father into the entertainment industry. It has now been revealed that Paris has signed on to star in a new fantasy film.

The teenager will play the heroine in Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys. The movie will feature both real and animated character and Paris can’t wait to start filming.

"Her character's strong love for her father is central to the plot," a source told British newspaper The Sun.

Paris’ family had advised her to wait until she was 18 before she launched her acting career. However, she feels a close connection to the role and thinks her father would have loved the film about magic and friendship.

The pictured is based on a young adult series written by Dennis H. Christen.

It sees a human turned into a dolphin by ancient magic, while other spells transform a teenage boy into a dragonfly and a jellyfish morphs into an evil fairy godmother.

Profits from the release of Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys will go to public schools in the US.

Paris has made several public appearances recently.

She attended The US X Factor’s tribute to Michael and also went to the premiere of Cirque de Soleil's Immortal tour in Las Vegas. The show features Michael’s greatest hits.
