Kirstie Alley details Swayze’s rejection

Kirstie Alley claims Patrick Swayze rejected her proposition they cheat on their spouses with one another.

The pair co-starred in 1985 American mini-series North and South.

Kirstie has admitted to falling in love with the late Dirty Dancing star while filming but has now ended speculation over whether or not they had an affair.

In her new book, The Art of Men, the 61-year-old star recalls how she broke down and propositioned Patrick after a night of partying.

"I want to make love with you. I just don't care anymore, let's just do it," she claims she told him.

Patrick was a gentleman.

"No. Come on, you're drunk," she claims he said. "You're not that kind of girl”.

The actor was married to his wife of 34 years, Lisa Niemi, at the time. Kirstie was married to ex-husband Parker Stevenson.

The actress spoke at Patrick’s 2009 funeral.

She told E! News she has “no idea” if Lisa caught wind of her attraction to him.
