Frankel hires Holmes' divorce lawyer

Bethenny Frankel has hired Katie Holmes’ divorce lawyer Allan E. Mayefsky to manage her split from Jason Hoppy.

The attorney settled Katie and Tom Cruise’s divorce in less than a month.

Both Jason and Bethenny have filed for primary custody of their two-year-old daughter Bryn, divorce documents show.

Katie, 34, famously won primary custody of six-year-old Suri Cruise in her divorce case.

“Jason will absolutely not allow Bethenny to make him a part time dad on her terms,” a source close to the situation told Radar Online.

“Jason will fight tooth and nail to have an active and meaningful presence in Bryn’s life.”

Bethenny announced her split from Jason in December following months of speculation about the state of the couple’s marriage.

She told Ellen DeGeneres she “felt like a failure” after the split.

"I really put it out there. I wanted the fairytale,” she confessed.

“I thought I had it. And Bryn is my fairy tale."

Bethenny and Jason wed in March 2010 with Bryn born two months later.
