Harrison Ford will never retire.

The 71-year-old actor will work until he dies and plans on staying healthy and mobile for a long time.

He married 48-year-old actress Calista Flockhart in 2010 and they are parents to her adopted son, 12-year-old Liam, who he wants to see become a man.

“I think retirement’s for old people,” he told British newspaper the Daily Mirror. “I’m still in the business, thank you. I have a young child and I want to live as long as I can to see him grow up.

“I have three young grandchildren, I’m enjoying my life and I want to stick around for as long as I can.”

The other youngsters in his family come from his older children.

He has sons Benjamin, 46, and Willard, 44, with his first wife, Mary Marquardt, plus Malcolm, 29, and Georgia. 26, with his second wife, screenwriter Melissa Mathison.

“I have five children, all of them are well and happy and doing well in their lives,” he proudly shared.

With an estimated personal fortune of £130million, Harrison is still raking it in and has three flicks out in the near future, thriller Paranoia, comedy Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues and cult science fiction drama Ender’s Game.

However he tries to stay away from the Hollywood scene and before meeting his current partner at the 2002 Golden Globes, Harrison thinks he was anything but a friendly face.

“I’m a kinder, gentler, Harrison Ford than I was,” he commented. “Am I grumpy? I might be. But I think maybe sometimes it’s misinterpreted.

"I’ve always been an independent son of a b***h, so if I’m grumpy, then call me grumpy. I’m all right with that.”
