Liv Tyler's creepy photo habit

Liv Tyler takes creepy pictures of her children when they're asleep.

In January (16) the American star announced she and her fiance Dave Gardner are expecting their second baby together.

The new addition will join their son Sailor, who turns one on Thursday (11Feb16). Liv and Dave also have sons from previous relationships.

As an actress Liv has to fly around the world for work, which often leaves her jet lagged. As well as being tired, the lack of sleep has left Liv with an unusual habit.

"My favourite thing at night is to check on everyone while they are sleeping, grown-ups, children," she admitted to Britain's ES magazine.

"I actually take quite a lot of pictures of people when they're sleeping, which is kind of creepy because they look dead."

Aside from her night time snapping, the 38-year-old has also set new career goals recently. She has a starring role in hit TV show The Leftovers and also new film Wilding in production, but the stage is where her acting dreams now lie.

"(I would love to perform in the West End if) there's an amazing director who'd take me under his wing," she revealed. "But it would have to be performance and character driven - that collaboration I would love.

"More than anything in the whole world ever, I would love to do a musical. I'm never not humming a song or singing or thinking of a song. I literally think in song all day long."

Liv started acting in the early '90s, starring in her Aerosmith rocker dad Steve's music videos. Hollywood quickly beckoned and parts in The Lord of the Rings franchise and Armageddon cemented her A-list status.

"I still have a real passion for acting but in a slightly more snobby way... I only want to work with film-makers that turn me on and make me excited," she explained. "(Producing) is a whole other set of skills, a different part of your brain."
