Jodie Foster loves that George Clooney wears the same clothes pretty much every day.

The actress directs the Gravity star in new drama Money Monster, about an investor (Jack O'Connell) who takes over-the-top TV personality Lee Gates (Clooney) hostage live on air. Julia Roberts also stars, and while Jodie has already gushed about working with her, she's just as complimentary about heartthrob George.

"This was a tough movie and he had a lot of dialogue squeezed into one time frame, so there wasn't the time for pranking," Jodie smiled to Total Film magazine. "But George is great. One of the things I love about him most, is he wears the same T-shirt and the same jeans pretty much every day. He has like 10 of the same things, and is always on time. He's a worker bee. But then I'll see him at a junket with those eyes and he looks fabulous."

Jodie was drawn in by the financial side of Money Monster’s plot, but it was the characters who won her over the most. One particular theme that stands out in the film is self-worth, and it's something that the star often finds herself contemplating.

"It's something that interests me," she explained. "It's a real motivation, wanting to be valuable and wanting your life to be meaningful, and what does that mean to people? Does that mean you move to Calcutta with Mother Teresa or do you make as much money as you possible can so you can have more power? What is that sense of value contingent upon?"

The Oscar-winner also notes the film addresses America's strange relationship with money, but is adamant people from all over the globe will be able to relate to the storyline. Money Monster hits U.K. cinemas later this month (May16).
