Modern Family star Ariel Winter has confirmed she's single again after splitting from Laurent Claude Gaudette - and it appears the break-up wasn't pretty.
The actress took to Instagram on Saturday (25Jun16) to let followers know she was back on the market.
She wrote: "When you’re surprised that people just haven't gotten it yet..." and then added a throwback clip of Kim Kardashian stating, "I'm dropping hints that I'm single."
The post ends days of cryptic notes from Ariel, suggesting she and Laurent had ended their romance.
In one she wrote: "Love doesn’t die, it simply evolves. We grow up, we realize what we truly want. I’m excited for this new chapter in my love life - love is all around... Family, friends, pizza... The old and the new.”
The couple has stopped following each other on social media.
Ariel and Laurent recently holidayed in the Bahamas together, and during the vacation she posted a photo of herself kneeling on a beach, writing their names in the sand.
"When you write yours and bae’s name in the sand @atlantisresort #bahamas," she captioned the photo.
This marks the second split for the teens - they first broke up in December (15) after two years of dating.
At the time, she also took to Instagram to hint at the split, posting a photo featuring a still from Beyonce's iconic Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) music video, with the words 'ALL THE SINGLE LADIES' inscribed onto the image, and added in the caption, "Start of a new week, start of a new chapter #dancinglikebeyoncemood".
A month later, she confirmed she was single during an appearance U.S. chat show The Talk, but they reunited to celebrate her 18th birthday late January (16), as he served as her date to her Los Angeles bash.
In addition to her breakup, Ariel has another fresh start coming this autumn (16) when she begins her first year at the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles.
