Actor Corey Feldman has accused nightclub owner Alphy Hoffman of sexually abusing him as a child.
The former child star has opened up to U.S. TV personality Dr. Mehmet Oz about his alleged abusers, revealing he gave the Santa Barbara police department in California the names of his molesters back in 1993, but his claims were brushed aside.
In another interview with Oz earlier this month (Nov17), the Lost Boys star accused actor John Grissom of sexually molesting him, and now he has named Hoffman as another attacker.
"He was the guy who ran Alphy's Soda Pop Club, and... I met him when I was 12 years old," he said. "He came to my house to pick me up in his car, and I had heard rumours that he threw the coolest parties in town and he was very connected..."
Feldman went on to explain that Alphy was the son of casting director Bobby Hoffman and he felt it was a big deal to know him. However, their friendship changed dramatically after the first few visits.
"You know, the first few times I went it was fairly innocent," he explained. "Those parties were relatively kid-friendly but interestingly, that's where I met the guy that ended up molesting (actor Corey) Haim... There was a bunch of these guys, they were all hanging out together at these parties, and the thing is, there weren't a lot of parents at these parties..."
"One night I was over there and we were watching a movie and I passed out while I was watching the movie, and when I woke up there was a porn (film) on again," he added. "And I was like, 'Man, I'm really tired...' I remember I could barely walk. I don't know what I was given at that time, but I know that I was really out of it. And we went to the bedroom, and I was kind of passing in and out of it, and then it was like he started doing the same things to me that John (Grissom) had done... I kind of woke up in the middle of it, and I freaked out... I kind of threw him off me and I ran home."
Hoffman has not commented on Feldman's claims.
Following his first revelation on The Dr. Oz Show, Corey called the Los Angeles Police Department and filed a report against Grissom and sat down for a formal interview with California authorities to discuss his claims. Investigators subsequently confirmed they were looking into the allegations, but ultimately dropped the case because the statute of limitations had expired.
It is unclear if Feldman will go to police with his allegations against Hoffman.
