Dina Lohan's boyfriend has come forward to insist their relationship is the real deal.

During her recent stint on U.S. reality show Celebrity Big Brother, Lindsay Lohan's mother revealed that she'd been talking to "a special someone" for five years but has never met him in real life or even video called him, leading many people, including Catfish host Nev Schulman and her actress daughter, to believe she was being duped, or catfished, by someone online.

Shortly after Nev announced he would be looking into the true identity of Dina's beau, a man named Jesse Nadler identified himself, and on Wednesday (13Feb19) the Catfish star confirmed that Nadler was indeed who he says he is.

Nadler also spoke with TMZ.com and said he would prove his relationship with Dina was the real deal by giving her a surprise FaceTime call when she leaves the Big Brother house on Wednesday night.

The 53-year-old confirmed he'd known Dina for five years after meeting on Facebook as they had mutual friends. Nadler admitted he was hurt by the Mean Girls actress labeling him a "catfish" on social media because he's spoken to her twice on the phone and he finds the term insulting as he has every intention of pursuing a relationship with Dina.

"I'm a good guy," he also told Page Six. "I'm the real deal... Just the thought of people thinking I could be a catfish when everyone knows me and knows how hard I work and how I respect women and mothers, it just kills me."

Dina's ex-husband Michael Lohan also confirmed Nadler's identity, saying they had spoken on the phone and he'd seen proof of their correspondence, which Nadler also showed Page Six.

"He's a really nice guy with a good heart and I like him," Michael revealed to Access Hollywood. "And if he makes Dina happy, I'm happy for them. Dina needs somebody in her life she can trust and quite honestly, after my communication with him and knowing her, they are perfect for each other."

However, Nev hinted that there is more to Nadler's story, tweeting, "Found @dinalohan’s boyfriend...but his story is way bigger than I could have ever imagined... Much much more coming soon..."
