He recently took part in a photo shoot for The Hollywood Reporter and W Magazine. Coming up are pieces in both USA Today and People Pets. Movieline's S.T. VanAirsdale started an awards campaign on Facebook called 'Consider Uggie' which has more than 4,000 followers. Uggie is active in social media with his own Twitter account @Uggie_TheArtist.
Uggie’s co-star, the lead actor, Jean Dujardin, took home the Best Actor Award at Cannes in May; THE ARTIST also received the Best Film and Best Director Awards at the New York Film Critics Circle in early December. It is also currently bookies favourite for the Best Picture Oscar. THE ARTIST will be charming audiences across the country from this Friday 6 January.
