Jessica Alba says her husband Cash Warren can’t relate to her work ethic.

The 33-year-old Sin City actress is a star in Hollywood, but she’s equally as successful with entrepreneurial pursuits, as her eco-friendly business The Honest Company is going from strength to strength.

But when it comes to the way she deals with her company, Jessica admits that sometimes Cash finds it difficult to understand her methods.

“Something that women do that men may not—right when we get an idea, we have to take care of it,” Jessica wrote in her first column for Self.com. “That’s something that Cash can’t relate to at all. He gets frustrated with me when I have to text myself an idea or email someone at my company about something right away, otherwise it’s gone for me.”

As well as opening up about her own business, Jessica’s column saw her interview Katherine Power, the CEO of Clique Media, about her work practices.

In the interview, Jessica also revealed her feelings about how social networking sites are affecting the job application process for many candidates.

“Now, in this day and age of social media, people can easily spy on one’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Pinterest, and find out all sorts of personal information,” Jessica said. “While I do think it’s helpful to research the individual, make sure you don’t cross the line. Let them open up to you.”

Jessica launched The Honest Company back in 2011 and since then it’s skyrocketed, with 2014 revenue estimated to have been more than $150 million.
