Ali Larter to throw ‘big’ birthday bash for son

Ali Larter is hosting a huge bash for her son’s first birthday.

The 35-year-old actress gave birth to Theodore on December 20 of last year.

Ali and her husband Hayes MacArthur are going all out to make this occasion a memorable celebration.

“We’re doing a big one on the actual day in Chicago where my husband’s family is, and we’ll do a mini one with my family,” Ali told People magazine.

Ali will ensure that Theodore is able to express himself happily at the party.

The talented baby musician will have lots of instruments to play with.

“He’s so musically inclined — he loves his music class — I think we’ll do something with lots of drums, tambourines and guitar. Something jammin’!” Ali gushed.

Ali is a huge fan of Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Mini fashion line. Attending the Harajuku Mini for Target lunch party last month, Ali is inspired by both Gwen’s style and her approach to parenting.

“I just think [Gwen] is brilliant and an incredible mom,” explains Larter.

“But my son’s more preppy, so we’ll see how the rocker meets the prep [at the party].”
