Jennifer Aniston reportedly wants to "play matchmaker" to Gwyneth Paltrow and Orlando Bloom.
Both Orlando and Gwyneth are single at the moment, following the breakdowns of their marriages to Miranda Kerr and Chris Martin respectively.
Jennifer has been pals with Orlando for around a decade and also knows Gwyneth, so is thought to have come up with the plan to get them together.
"Now that she's found love [with her fiancé Justin Theroux], Jen wants that same sort of happiness for all her friends, so when Gwyn pointed out that Orlando was hot, she started to play matchmaker," a source told British magazine Heat.
Gwyneth and Chris only announced their separation following a ten-year marriage last month, saying it was a "conscious uncoupling". They have two children together and Jennifer apparently understands she needs to handle the situation sensitively.
"She's not a pushy person, so she'd never do it without the go-ahead from Gwyneth - but, if Gwyn says yes, Jen's planning to throw a little dinner party at her house," the insider said. "She'll invite a few other couples, so it's a party instead of a set-up. The last thing she wants to do it to put them in an awkward situation."
The Friends actress reportedly thinks Gwyneth and Orlando would make the perfect couple for her and Justin to enjoy double dates with. She's also pleased with how much they have in common.
"They're both spiritual and follow the same sort of regimented diets," the source said. "Healthy eating is such a huge part of Gwyneth's life, and she was always fighting Chris about it. Plus, Orlando's son Flynn comes first and it's the same for Gwyneth and her kids."
Jennifer, Justin and Orlando are known to be close, with Orlando even rumoured to have warned Justin to take his relationship with Jennifer more seriously. The pair have been engaged since the summer of 2012, with constant speculation about the state of their relationship because they are yet to set a wedding date and have been spending a lot of time apart.
"During a boy's night out, which fell on Jen's birthday, Orlando kept telling Justin that he should be with Jen, rather than his friends," an insider previously said. "Justin couldn't really respond to that and seemed a bit guilty about his behaviour."
