Will Arnett has supposedly filed for divorce from Amy Poehler.

The 43-year-old Canadian comedian separated from the Parks and Recreation star nearly two years ago.

And People magazine reports Will submitted divorce papers to the Los Angeles Superior Court on April 8. Apparently the Arrested Development star asked to share joint legal and physical custody of the two children he shares with Amy, sons Archie, five, and Abel, three.

The outlet claims Will is also seeking to secure visitation rights with his and Amy’s boys.

The comedic couple announced they were separating in September 2012.

Will and Amy tied the knot in 2003, three years after they initially began dating.

Since their split, Will has been romantically linked to singer Billy Joel’s ex-wife Katie Lee. The pair were spotted out together enjoying a date last August.

Also in 2013, it is believed Amy began seeing fellow comedian Nick Kroll.

Actor-and-comedian Nick has a series on the Comedy Central network called Kroll Show. He also appeared on sitcom The League and has shot some Funny or Die videos.

Amy and Will’s split is said to be amicable. In 2011, Will joked about his marriage explaining he let Amy think she made all the big decisions.

“She thinks she’s the boss, but I’m the boss,” he giggled. “Part of being the boss is allowing others to think they’re the boss, which is what I do.”
