Ashton Kutcher vows to be ‘better’

Ashton Kutcher says his New Year’s resolution is to “get better”.

The comment comes a month after Ashton reportedly cheated on his wife actress Demi Moore.

Ashton and Demi are rumoured to be on the brink of divorce following the alleged highly publicised extramarital affair.

The actor admitted in an interview that although his resolution was private, he really wanted to improve himself as a person.

“In our family, we have dinner and each take turns to say our resolution out loud,” he told the December edition of UK Glamour magazine. “Mine’s private, but let’s just say my goal is to get better.”

The Two and a Half Men star can soon be seen in romantic comedy New Year’s Eve.

The film follows several intertwining stories throughout the holiday season. It features a whole host of stars including Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sarah Jessica Parker, Zac Efron and Jessica Biel.

Ashton plays Randy, a cynical guy who hates the romantic time of year. But in real life Ashton loves the holiday and wants to celebrate it all over the world.

“[I want to spend New Year’s Eve in] New York. This city is always electric and they do things bigger and better than everywhere else,” he enthused. “But next year I want to go to Sydney because they get New Year’s Day first.”
